The Path Ahead
![Page 49: College of Architecture Space Needs](https://reader036.vdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022062222/62a4439d1903ed18203c2bec/html5/thumbnails/49.jpg)
Our Current Reality
![Page 50: College of Architecture Space Needs](https://reader036.vdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022062222/62a4439d1903ed18203c2bec/html5/thumbnails/50.jpg)
Our Aspirational Goals
![Page 51: College of Architecture Space Needs](https://reader036.vdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022062222/62a4439d1903ed18203c2bec/html5/thumbnails/51.jpg)
But more seriously, the College of Architecture has the capacity to develop creative solutions to our space needs.
For example…
![Page 52: College of Architecture Space Needs](https://reader036.vdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022062222/62a4439d1903ed18203c2bec/html5/thumbnails/52.jpg)
![Page 53: College of Architecture Space Needs](https://reader036.vdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022062222/62a4439d1903ed18203c2bec/html5/thumbnails/53.jpg)
Or, here is another example…
![Page 54: College of Architecture Space Needs](https://reader036.vdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022062222/62a4439d1903ed18203c2bec/html5/thumbnails/54.jpg)

And, for future buildings that may result from fund raising efforts, we need a bold change of paradigms…
![Page 56: College of Architecture Space Needs](https://reader036.vdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022062222/62a4439d1903ed18203c2bec/html5/thumbnails/56.jpg)

Conclusion
![Page 58: College of Architecture Space Needs](https://reader036.vdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022062222/62a4439d1903ed18203c2bec/html5/thumbnails/58.jpg)
• In general, the College of Architecture concurs with the SNAPS Report. As the report indicates, there is definitely a current need for additional space (96,159 sq. ft.).
• However, to meet the projected growth through 2015, the College of Architecture will need additional space (11,987 sq. ft. more, for a total of 108,146 sq. ft.).
• Furthermore, the quality of certain spaces will need to be improved in order for the College of Architecture to meet its goals regarding learning/teaching and research/creative work activities, at the high levels of excellence demanded by Vision 2020.
Conclusion
