Fitness for Purpose: Response from client and
improvements
Client Response I created a survey to get feed back from
Miss Lee, my client, and then evaluated the constructive critism and drew out improvements from that.
Did you find the site easy/simple to
navigate?
“Yes”
No need for improvement
What did you think about the quality of information?
“Meets most of the syllabus statements”
Area for improvement:
Add more materials to increase the quality of information
Modification I added 6 videos to the website in order to ensure
all syllabus statements were met.
Do you think there was a good balance of
multimedia / text / images?
“Yes, nice layout”
No need for improvement
Could you please 3 specific things that you thought
were good about the website?
“Simple clear layout”
“easy to understand language”
“use of diagrams”
Could you please give me 2-3 specific things that
you think could be improved?
“Include extension material that stretches learning for the more able”
“Include short animation clips to illustrate certain ideas”
Modification “Include extension material that stretches learning for the more
able”
I went to ISLE and downloaded some harder questions from the textbook that would be more of a challenge for more able students
I then reformatted the sub headings for each unit, from “Revision Test” to “Test Yourself (Unit)”. This allowed me to have all of the test materials in once place to make it easy to find.
Modification (cont.)
Modification “Include short animation clips to illustrate certain ideas”
I added 6 videos to the website, in order to make it more inviting to learn
It also makes the site more accessible to those who have a more visual learning style
