LITERACIES

Most people think of “literacy” and being “liter-ate” as being able to read and write – well youcan certainly do that! But in today’s world,

“literacy” has morphed into the many “litera-cies” made possible by digital technology.

You, no doubt, are moving in and using thedigital world constantly, but CLAM will enhanceyour digital literacy skills while you simultane-ously create and develop your cultural literacyby examining personal, professional, and localpolitical topics.

ThefamousMexicanauthorCarlosFuenteswrote“Culture consists of connections, not of separa-tions.”

CLAM teaches you how to connect to the cultureyou are experiencing. You get to tell your storyof being in, experiencing, and learning something

new, fresh, and exciting. You get to network andexperience culture as only travelling abroad letsyou.
