Design department
Ideas are captured on paper. Drawn line by line, the styles begin to take shape.
Pattern room
The ideas become reality.
Leather storage
This is a world of colour and texture.
Leather preparation
One by one each skin is examined to ensure it meets our quality standards.
Leather cutting
Technology and tradition come together. Under the supervision and personalised care of a
specialised technician the use of time and materials is optimised.
Stitching preparation
Like pieces of a puzzle, the pieces of leather are sorted and prepared for assembly. The shoe
starts to take shape.
Stitching
An artisan process where all the pieces of a shoe are sewn together.
Lasting
The basis, the core, and the secret of a great shoe. Choosing the right last. Creating the perfect fit.
Assembly
In this process, the last and the upper come together.
Back counter assembly
The pillar of every shoe! It is where your heel should comfortably rest.
Sanding and gluing
This is how we get the perfect fit between sole, platform, and heel.
Heel machine
With the heel in place our shoe is finally looking like what it is meant to be.
Gluing preparation
Like any good gear, the solid union between all parts is crucial. At Sacha London we make sure all
the components are of the highest quality.
Cementing
This is where the final union between sole and platform happens.
Cold oven
We make sure that all the components fit perfectly and that the shoe’s flexibility meets
our standards.
Hot oven
Heat shrinks the leather and bonds the glues. It ensures a snug fit on the last and guarantees quality.
Finishing room
It is here that the shoe gets the finishing touches. All of the details are closely examined.
Polishing
Any traces of handling are erased. The shoe has to be perfect so our customers’ hands are the first
to handle them.
Product distribution
Each shoe is shipped to its final destination…. To shops and ultimately into the consumer’s hands
where we hope our craftsmanship is evident and appreciated.
