Carex morrowii ’Variegata’
• Use: This very dwarf palm sedge could find a suitable spot in almost any landscape or container. So it is great to now have such a small form. Looks great when mass planted and can be used as a ground cover in moist shaded areas. Dwarf palm sedge is great with small water features and can be planted directly in shallow water or in bog gardens or bog con-tainers. Also lovely when planted with Hostas, Lenten Roses, or Heuchera.
• Exposure/Soil: Part sun to shade; moist to wet soil; needs ample water in hot dry locations. Yet drought tolerant in shade.
• Growth: Grows to 12 in. high and 14” wide.
• Hardiness: 4-10 Perennial.
• Foliage: Semi-evergreen/ evergreen in mild winters. Green margins with a broad white stripe down the middle.
• Flower: Not known for flowers.
