From the very first module we noticed that Clarice had some trouble
keeping up with the course requirements, but she did not let that define
her as a student. She spent the past few weeks working hard to bring her
grades up to par and has successfully done so. We as a class feel she de-
serves above all else to be Student of the Month for her outstanding pro-
gress. Clarice went from making B’s and C’s to a straight A student; this
should not go unrecognized. She has been a pleasure to be classmates
with; she’s pleasant, mature, and a hard worker, and always pushes herself
to her furthest limits in order to be the best she can be; a true inspiration.
Sincerely,
Mod 213C
The tradition of wearing a
cap and gown at gradua-
tion dates back to the
12th Century! Allen
School students are fol-
lowing in the traditions of
many that came before
them. The Allen School
alone has graduated over
70,000 students!

Over 500 graduates participated in the Allen School 2012 Graduation Ceremony on June 14,
2012 at Colden Auditorium, Queens College. Almost 2,000 people came to celebrate in the
accomplishments of the over 1,900 graduates of the Allen School’s Medical Assistant, Nursing
Assistant and Medical Insurance Billing & Coding programs! We congratulate all graduates who
dedicated their time to bettering their future and for those of you currently in school, remem-
ber, this could be you at the next celebration!
Students participated in an All Star event and this is the feedback from the supervisor:
“It was a great event and the Allen School volunteers were very kind, professional, and extremely helpful. We would love to
have them again at our Cycle for Life event in September. Please let them know we truly appreciated their help!”
Congrats to our Valedictorians!
