AT&T: AT&T expands mobilebroadband coverage near Everett.

EVERETT, PA. — As part of its continuing networkinvestment to support growing demand for advanced
mobile devices and applications, AT&T• todayannounced the activation of a new mobile broadbandcell site east of Everett on the Pennsylvania Turnpikethat will enhance coverage for residents and businessesin the area as well as along portions of US-30 and SR-26. With mobile broadband speeds, AT&T customerscan surf the Web, download files faster, and enjoy thevery latest interactive mobile applications.
The new cell site is one part of AT&T’s ongoingefforts to drive investment and innovation to deliver
the nation’s best, most advanced mobile broadbandexperience for customers. With the nation’s fastestmobile broadband network, AT&T providesaccelerated mobile data speeds and simultaneous voiceand data capabilities.
“As part of the Everett community, we’re alwayslooking for new opportunities to provide enhancedcoverage, and our investment in the local wirelessnetwork is just one way we’re accomplishing that,"said J. Michael Schweder, president, AT&TPennsylvania. “In addition, our recently announcedagreement to acquire T-Mobile USA will strengthenand expand our network in the area. If approved, thisdeal means that we’ll be able to expand the nextgeneration of mobile broadband – 4G LTE – from ourcurrent plan of 80 percent of the U.S. population tomore than 97 percent.”
