to Calvary Assembly of God!. We are glad thatyou have chosen to worship with us today.
“Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.”—John 15:13
Memorial Day is a day we Americans have set aside to honor and rememberthose who have died in military service. On this day many take time to visitthe grave site of a loved one, a friend, or someone who had been meaningfulto them in one way or another during his or her lifetime. Perhaps this is theway it should be, but how many will take a few minutes on this special dayto remember or even think of the One who gave His life as a ransom for theirsoul? Nothing else is really as important.
We are blessed to be living in a free society. May we honor our Americansoldiers for the liberty we have in this country. May we also give thanks toAlmighty God for the freedom we have to spend eternity with Him becauseof His gift of forgiveness through the death, burial and resurrection of JesusChrist.
We will never forget,
Pastor David Edwards, Lead Pastor
