Sharon Rocacorba BEAT Hosted Events “How to be Anti- Racist” at CPP next Thursday September 17, at 5p – panel of students and staff that are going to speak about their experiences at CPP as well as provide resources and action items. You can register at ASI Portal.
Friday an event called “Write Along.” This a space and opportunity where students can share their work and given some prompts to start their creative writing process. A collaboration w/ Harvest International a student group on campus.
CESI Senator asked question: What happens with MCC?
Sen Pro Temp answered question- There is one person who a possible candidate is, but they need to pass through the verification process with the university to see if they’re eligible. After that process, they would go to the MCC council, from there they are voted from within their cancel.
Ginny Templeton- wanted to clarify the definition of the CPP student in regard to the Kids University Fall Programming. You do not have to just be a CPP student who is just a parent. You can also be a CPP student who provides childcare to relatives or siblings, or children. Wanted to make sure that we define that broadly and everyone knows that’s the case, there is no additional chare for CPP students, the registration opens later today, and the program will start September 28.
Kaycee Tanioka- announcements for intramural sports, Intramural sports registration is open until Thursday Sept.24.
Ian Navarro announcement updated website, a section to help students get outdoors. Next Thursday, a virtual tour of Zion National Park.

Question asked by President: This report comes out every time we do a new budget correct? So, it will be annual? Answer: Yes, this is an annual. The fiscal year is July 1- June 30. The budget is more like forward thinking and the audit is more backwards, let the auditors come in and double check and verify if it is correct.

• Cabinet – our first cabinet meeting occurred last Tuesday (September 1st) • Smart Guidance – college planner is being updated to a new and improved
system. Because of the update, we will be without a college planner resource this semester when registering for classes. However, administration will be reaching out to the students that use that resource religiously. If you have any detailed questions, please contact Jessica Wagnor.

• BOD MEETING: o Had a discussion on the 2020-2021 Action Plan and will be voting on it at the
next BOD Meeting • Cabinet Meeting:
o First cabinet meeting and had introductions of all the members. We went over the committee code and the expectations of this committee. We also broke into focus groups and I was able to talk of to our Officer of Sustainability and talk about goals for the semester.
• Facilities and Operations Committee o I conducted the first meeting of the semester and consisted of introduction of
members, expectations and goals for the semester. We also nominated a Vice Chair and Greek Senator is the nomination and we will be voting in that position next meeting!
• Rules and Policies Committee: o Took minutes as I am Vice Chair of this Committee and we had introductions,
went over committee code, and reviewed past R&P meeting minutes to approve of.
Continuing Projects:
• MCC and ENV Senators o MCC Council has a complete E-board and we are waiting for a potential MCC
Senator to pass the VOE Process. o Potential ENV Senator has passed the VOE process and will have to be voted
on at ENV Council’s first general meeting. o Hoping to have both positions filled by Mid-Sept!
