Health Hazard Summary

Begin with a 4% (by weight) solutionof CrossLink Latex Detergent. AddEmulsi-Fire SB at the rate of 1 gallonfor every 10 gallons of CrossLinksolution. Mix thoroughly and then heatvat to approximately 190°F.Required solution strength will varydepending on actual operatingtemperature, water hardness, andsoil load. Sodium Metasilicate(Anhydrous) may be substituted forCrosslink.

Product Description

Emulsi-Fire SB is an activatingadditive for alkaline solutions used toclean and strip dried latex and resinsfrom road tankers, tank containers,and IBC's. Emulsi-Fire SB is a blendof detergents, chelates, anddispersants that greatly boost theperformance of highly alkalinesolutions. Using Emulsi-Fire SB inconjunction with Crosslink isparticularly effective for removingdried latex and resins as thissolution penetrates and dissolves thepolymers rather than just removing itin sheets. At elevated temperatures,Emulsi-Fire SB is low foaming, so itmay be used in recirculating partswashers and similar units.
