Dear Church,

This is a busy season for our church. We have a number of things happening in our common life, and this week I want to make sure that you have all the important dates for the upcoming months.

I hope that you will take the time to think and pray about your decision as you cast a vote for ten men and women in our church who are willing to help lead us into the future. 2.Donotforgetaboutyourpledgecards!Howyouuseyourtime, talent, treasure, and testimony have a direct impact on the ministry of FBCAugusta.ThinkaboutwhatGodiscallingyoutogivethisyearand turninyourpledgeonSundaymorning. 3. Our Thanksgiving celebration, the First Family Thanksgiving Feast,willbeheldonSunday,November19at5:00intheFellowship Hall.Thekitchenisprovidingtheturkeyandeachofusneedstobring a side! This is going to be a wonderful time for all of us to be together. Please make plans to join us. 4.OnDecember3at7:00inourSanctuary,wewillbehostinga ClassicChristmasconcertwithDavidPhelps.IspoketoSusanatthe front desk yesterday and she mentioned that tickets are selling fast. YoucangetyourticketonSundaymorningafterworship,atWednesday night dinner, or come by the church Monday-Friday. 5.“Christmas at First Baptist”willbeheldonSundayevening, December10at7:00inourSanctuary.Ihaveseenthepresentationthat Kurt is preparing and I can assure you that you do not want to miss this service! 6. “A Night of Wonder” presentedbyourchildren’schoirsSunday, December17at6:30p.m.Don’tmissthisspecialnight.

Finally,thisSundaywebeginatwoweekseriesontheKingdomofGod.We are going to look at two of Jesus’ parables about how the Kingdom is present eveninourmidsttoday.IhopetoseeyouonSundaymorning.
