• Average temperature is 50 degrees Fahrenheit
• Average rainfall per year ranges from 30 to 60 inches a year
• The latitude ranges from 23 degrees north to 38 degrees south
• It is made up of rolling hills.
Abiotic Factors
• It has four seasons spring, summer, autumn and winter
• Mild Summers 70 degrees June – August• Cool Winters Just below freezing start in
December• The soil is very fertile
Abiotic Factors
• The leafy trees shed leaves every year due to lack of water reserves.
• Evergreens keep their leaves during the winter because their leaves are smaller which looses less water.
Biotic Factors
• Broad leafed deciduous trees and some of the evergreen trees make up the forest.
• Such as the ash, oak, lime, beech, birch, and northern arrow wood.
• Wildflowers such as oxlip, bluebells, painted trillium, and primrose.

• The animals adapt to the weather by hibernating during winter.
• Other three seasons they live off the land.• They try the plants for food.• They use trees for shelter water supply and
sometimes food.• They have camouflage that looks like the

• Plants adapt by leaning toward the sun and soaking up the nutrients in the ground.
