BEM – Bordeaux - France . That Semester without any doubt was the most
greatest semester in my life , I learned many new skills , I got new business
knowledge , I had new international friends , and the most essential thing was
identifying myself, my own goals and my future path strategy.

"BEM is a multicultural amazingly-diversified place in one of France’s
most beautiful cities, Bordeaux. A quite afternoon by the mirror d'eau, a
walk in Rue Sainte Catherine, or maybe a quick trip to Paris over the
weekend will make you feel alive!"
Nirvana El-Haddad, KEDGE Business School, France
I call it the perfect mixture; School, students, Teachers, atmosphere. It
was more cultural and welcoming than I imagined with more than 300

I went to BEM as an exchange student from Kuwait University. It was
the best experience of my life. I got introduced and met so many
different people from different nationalities as well as learning and
adapting and living in a new culture. It was a very enriching experience
and I will be forever grateful to Kuwait University.
Hady Makki, KEDGE Business School, France
I was very excited to join the exchange program in IE Business School, Madrid, in Spain. It
really reflected my success in a part of life. Students and Staffs were very helpful and
friendly . What surprised me as well that most of people were not Spanish but coming from
20 different nationalities and cultures. Thus helped me to see things with a different eye.
Classes were interesting and productive and this experience motivated me to continue my
higher studies in Spain. Finally I am glad to be a part of this amazing experience that Kuwait
University provided me by joining such program.

Being the first to be abroad at AU from Kuwait as an exchange student was a double-edged
sword. One of the edgees is rough for the lack of complete knwoledge of the program. The
Oether edge has given me an enormous benefit academically and socially. AU Students who
come from different religious and cultures, Arabs and Jews, American and Non American
are all very social and friendly people. Making friends brings bitter0sweet memories despite
the cultures and religious differences. I have made really good friends.
It’s a place where one can be whoever wants to be. I believe the greatest gift a man can ever
have is the freedom of choice na dth efreedom of being without social pressure.
Going through such part of life. I mean getting an opportunity to travel and study
abroad was really nice and valuable. I learned a lot about the European System of
life, education, and culture. I made good relationships with international students
from different parts of the world. I learned how to be independent in life by renting
my own place and doing my stuffs away from parent. Really, I liked it.
Saad Al-Dousari, KEDGE Business School, France
It was marvellous that I got the chance to try a new methods of teaching
and had a closed view of a new country and traditions. I now have
relations with friends from different places of the world.

I got the opportunity to know people from different backgrounds and I
made a pure friendship with them. Joining BEM and interacting with its
learning system& professors were amazing. I encourage others to join
the students exchange program.
It was my luck to get an opportunity to study two semester instead of one at
ESADE. It was really amazing. ESADE education which depend mostly on
pratical systems, case studies and researches. The faculty members were
great. I got now friendships from different cultures. This part of life is to be
the greatest ever I had lived.

In Kuwait I was lazy. I didn’t exercise and I didn’t get to feel a sense of
responsibility. Abroad, walking was my only way of transportation and
sometimes I’d take the bus. Also, got to feel very responsible with
dealing with many things.
I had a fantastic experience. I learned a lot about numerous cultures and made
the most of my opportunities. I loved every minute of it while I was over
there. I've made friends for life, and it was truly once in a lifetime experience.
Thank you for making it happen.

In general people in Spain are active; they follow a healthy lifestyle and
are friendly and hospitable. The similarity in our cultures amazed me and
I grew keener to know about them more. Madrid enjoys good weather
almost all year round, and life there is a good blend of traditions and
westernization.
Studying abroad build yourself. It Gives your full responsibility about your life. And it
gives you more confidence about your self. This picture taken for our group project
about the operation(Starbucks). I am in the left of the picture holding the text book for
the course subject, in the middle my friend from Macedonia (Goran) and in the left of
the picture my friend from Austria (Carl).

My experience outside of Kuwait opened my eyes to cultures and places
which I never thought of. It is a great opportunity with an absolute added
value to any MBA student in any business school.
The life was different there, we woke up early and needed to catch the bus or
train to go to the college and we needed to adapt to the different life style.

It was an excellent experience benefited from a lot of things, whether personal

I got improvement in language and learned to read more. It was an amazing
experience to involve with abroad students and professors.
It was a very nice experience with many responsibilities and difficulties. Re-
freshen your self is very important inside of this experience and learning new

In fact, there are many good things I've learned. The college itself has a high academic
reputation in Europe and internationally. Most of us are exchange students which allow me to
recognize many different countries/cultures. This program is as a good preparation for anyone
would like to have a Master or PHD; at least, I can to recognize the how the environment is.
Strong connect between professors and students by using the college website, which the
students what they need about the lecture/if there is any change. The college is Not in Paris
which is easy to choose good residence and it is around 40 min far by train to Paris. I've spent a
good time in France in what I'm interested in (attending music concerts +visiting violin
workshops )
AMAZING!! The four months I lived abroad were the best four months of my
life. My live used to be active, healthy, and diverse.
