The detailed match schedule will be published immediately on the FIVB website once approved by the FIVB Technical Delegate onsite. It will be no later than 1 hour after the end of last match of day or 1 hour after the seeding list is established after Preliminary Inquiry.

2.6 Uniform and Accessories:
The playing tops/tanks will be provided by the organizer for all Main Draw and Qualification players. Player are
requested to bring their tops/tanks, provide by the organizer, to the courts all the time, to avoid any issues
regarding lack of required uniform sizes for the players.
The Shorts/bottoms and accessories must be provided by the players and/or by their sponsors.
If required by the FIVB Technical Delegate, other uniforms and accessories will be checked during the Preliminary
Inquiry.
Athletes of the same team must wear the same colour and style of shorts. The display of the individual players'
sponsors' logos on shorts and accessories must comply with the FIVB Sports Regulations and Handbook.

Note: The tax at source might be implemented as per the fiscal regulations/laws in the countries where the tournament is held. The athlete is responsible for paying the relevant taxes for his/her earnings in his/her own country and he/she must update both his/her bank account details and his/her personal information at the beginning of the contract year through the VIS system. Please double check your personal profile and consult the FIVB Delegate at the Preliminary Inquiry should there be any questions.

If Prize Money is paid by the FIVB or promoter via bank transfer, in case of unsuccessful payment, after three (3) attempts to contact the athlete, the FIVB Finance Department will send an official letter (to the NF and to the athlete) to inform them of the money transfer to the respective NF that will be debited within the following 5-10 days. In case of no response, the athlete’s VISASP account is then debited and the FIVB Finance Department informs the FIVB IT Department to book the payment in VISASP.

3. GENERAL MATTERS 3.2 Arrival and Departure
The official airport confirmed by the organizer is as follows: Name of the airport : Aeropuerto Internacional de Cancun. Distance from the airport to the main draw hotel: 21km (around 25 minutes by car)

Transportation for Main Draw Players: Organizer will provide airport transfer for the Main Draw players only . In order to benefit from the airport transportation, athletes have to send their flight information to the organizer, at least 3 days prior to the arrival. Otherwise organizer will not be able to provide them with airport transportation.
The travel forms (BVB 31 & 31b) must be completed latest 3 days prior to the arrival.

Board and Lodging
The organizers will provide the Main Draw teams at Grand Sens Cancun with hotel accommodation (double
room ), with meals from the evening before the start of the Main Draw until the day after the elimination of the
teams from the event, including breakfast. The three meals will be at the Main Draw Hotel which is Grand Sens
Cancun. Athletes will be personally responsible for all extras at the hotel such as phone calls, laundry, etc. to be
paid upon checkout.
Organizers will not be required to make reservations for coaches, guests, teams’ physiotherapists, friends, or
family members accompanying the participating athletes. Please note that following the organizers negotiations
with the hotel, a discount of 15% for booking through the following link will be offered to the participants:

Athletes (or their National Federations) will be required to apply early enough for their entry visas, whenever
needed and will be accountable for all visa expenses.

3.4 Insurance
Athletes must have their own liability and medical insurance.
3.5 Medical Controls
The FIVB reserves the right to perform random medical controls on the participating athletes and alcohol tests on the officials, as per FIVB rules and regulations.
3.6 Accreditation
Organizers will provide all Organizing Committee members, FIVB Officials, referees, athletes, VIPs, journalists,
technical staff, court personnel, volunteers, etc. with an official accreditation card and will ensure that only people
with appropriate accreditation will access the designated venue areas.

The accreditation centre will be at Grand Oasis Palm (next door by the Main Draw hotel) at Cozumel Meetin
Room, the organizers are going to take pictures from each athlete in order to personalize every accreditation, for
the qualification’ players it will be one accreditation and a different one for main draw, so if the qualification team
goes to the main draw, they have to come back and get a new accreditation for the main draw.
It is mandatory for the athletes to present an ID (Passport) and a form must be signed in order to receive the
accreditation.

4. Team Video Services
FIVB in collaboration with Sportradar will provide Team Video Services at all 3-5 star tournaments. Please take the below steps to create your personal user account which enables you to have access to and download the match videos:

Once request is sent, you will receive your login information in 2-3 working days. We strongly recommend everyone to create your personal account in due time to ensure access to the videos.
5. OTHER
For any eventual discrepancies, the most updated version of the FIVB Beach Volleyball Sport Regulations and
the FIVB Beach Volleyball Handbook will prevail.

6. SITUATION REGARDING THE COVID-19
As situation regarding the COVID-19 is evolving daily, it has caused significant challenges to international travel
for several countries and has highlighted the need to meet all requirements of the relevant health regulations in
all countries hosting sports events. Therefore, we kindly ask you:
- To check information regarding the airlines’ regulations and restrictions related to your flight to the
tournament regularly.
- To check information regarding any travel restrictions and quarantine regulations at the host country
regularly to avoid any issues at your arrival.
