1. Introduction to case study
The case study we chosen is a two storey bungalow, located in Kuala Terengganu. The bungalow is owned by current MB (menteri besar) of Terengganu, Designed by LWC architect.
A pond is place in the middle of the bungalow as the genius loci of the building surrounded by all other space such as living room, dining, bedroom and etc. the pond also act as cooling strategy of the building other than its aesthetic value which enhance the comfort of the users.
we had studied and analyzed architectural plans from the architect and came up with structural plans which indicating the position of columns, beam and slabs.

5.conclusion
Through this project, we had learnt a lot of the structural design, not only drawing it yet proving with mathematic formula and diagrams. We also explored possibility of different type placement of columns and beams that not only affecting the safety yet aesthetic and comfort for the user experience.
We also learnt how the load are transferred from top to the bottom until the ground, identifying those structural members and understanding how the force is acting on the structural members whether is it capable to withstand ideal amount of load with the space we designed.
we are grateful for the experience and the opportunity to explore the structural members of the building and will apply in our work in future.
