Course outlineTheBTECLevel5HNDinConstructionandTheBuiltEnvironment–ConstructionManagementoffersstudentsaspecialistpathway,designedto support progression into employment or on to degree-level study. The constructionmanagementpathwayisidealforthosewhoareinterestedinoralreadyworkinginthesectorasadesignco-ordinator,constructionsitesupervisor, design technician, site manager or project manager. Students willdevelopasoundunderstandingoftheprinciplesofconstructionmanagement and will learn to apply these principles more widely. The course covers a broad spectrum of subject areas that are relevant to develop a widerunderstandingoftheconstructionindustry.
Entry requirementsStudentsneedtobeemployedwithintheconstructionindustrytobeabletoaccessthecourseandhavetherelevantexperienceand/orqualifications,such as:

constructionrelatedarea
AnyapplicantwhoisnotcomingdirectlyfromcompletingtheCollegeBTECLevel4HNCConstruction&TheBuiltEnvironmentcoursewillneedtoattendan interview to establish suitability for the course.
