Core features.
• Phone/Video calling between 2 people • Content Sharing, in this case a PowerPoint slideshow• Adding additional people into a call, making it an ad hoc conference call, also
worth noting that you can have contact lists within Skype.• Priority speaker, shows the picture/video feed of who is actually talking on the call.• Instant messaging features – think PC version of a text message• Skype for Business is available on multiple devices and platforms as seen in the
clip, devices such as a desktop PC, tablets, laptops and mobile phones. It will work on all mobile phones and all computer operating systems.
Group discussion and task.
In your groups come up with a scenario where Skype or Skype for Business would be a benefit and then we will feed this back into the class.
