• Easy-to-understand definitions• Know up-front what fields are used for

searching• A tool that could “interview” the users to

prompt entry using examples and instructions

• The output of the tool should be a clear and easily understood document.

• EPHTN could definitely benefit from consistent, reliable, informative metadata

• A good metadata entry tool will be key to ensuring consistency

• The repository and it’s functionality must be identified prior to confirming the tool.
