Small Business Rates Relief
From April 2017, small businesses that occupies a property with a rateable value of £12,000 (currently £6,000) or less will pay no business rates.

Tax payment dates
As part of the governments plan to move to digital reporting, from 2018, businesses reporting digitally may voluntarily make “pay as you go” tax payments.
This move may allow better cashflow and create a greater link between the earning of the profit and payment of the tax.

Lifetime ISA’s
Available from April 2017 to anyone aged under 40. Up to £4,000 can be saved each year.

Money can be used to pay towards a first house purchase or can be saved towards retirement

New Tax allowances
Income from trading income and property income will be tax free where the income is less than £1,000 per annum. Where the income exceeds this amount then either the first £1,000 will be tax free or actual expenses can be deducted.
Comes into effect in April 2017
