What is Bio-diesel?

Biodiesel is an alternative fuel similar to conventional or ‘fossil’ diesel.

Burns clean Less Smog and global warming Emits up to 85% fewer cancer-causing agents.

Approved by the EPA

Elaboration process

Biodiesel is produced thanks to a chemical reaction named transertification, which means that the glycerol found in oils is replaced by an alcohol in the presence of a catalyst.

Inventor of the diesel

Developed in the 1890s by inventor Rudolph Diesel, the diesel engine has become the engine of choice for power, reliability, and high fuel economy, worldwide.
