OSS Consulting Engineer

Major Responsibilities
. Sustaining existing business as well as participating in new business opportunities and

. Manage the work within the team dedicated to the engineering services including OSS

OSS Solution Architect
The Solution Architect provides senior level technical leadership to existing and potential customers.
This requires deep understanding of Network Inventory Management Solutions, a comprehensive
understanding of both traditional and next generation telecommunications technology, and the aptitude
to quickly learn new technologies as they are introduced and deployed by communications carriers.
The Solution Architect performs many pre and post sales functions, such as identifying and defining the
appropriate technical solution to meet a customer's business need, giving product demonstrations to
potential customers, defining solution architectural strategies, and identifying business value to the
customer for our solutions. Additionally, the Solution Architect must be able to articulate and
demonstrate the value propositions and the flexibility of our solutions to potential customers with
unique configuration requirements.
The ability to respond under relatively tight timeframes and under high stress situations is a must. In
particular, the ability to define a solution based on customer requests and RFXs, identify the gaps in our
product and services vs. what have been requested, technically document the solution and the
differences, support the costing of the gaps and develop/write the responses to RFXs. Additionally, the
Solution Architect must be particularly adept and comfortable presenting solutions to complex network
requirements using Network Inventory Solutions to customer audiences ranging from CEO to OSP techs.
The Solution Architect provides technical advice to various levels of management and often acts in a
lead position. Capable of handling problems that may arise and able to offer creative solutions to
resolve them. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods and

techniques for achieving results. Has broad experience and know-how, with specialized expertise in
some aspects. Works well without appreciable direction. Entry into this level is limited and is attained by
employees whose education, experience and contribution lends to consistently high contribution and
value. Typically requires 8-15 years of related experience with a BS/ MS.

Major Responsibilities
Having a comprehensive understanding of the customers’ business and technical needs and competitive
challenges, the OSS Solution Architect drives the OSS design, and system as well as functional
architecture development process for a project. It is the responsibility of the role holder to lead the
design of the OSS solution during pre-sales support activities, RFPs and RFQs or during the delivery
phase, to scope and deliver integrated solutions, options and up-scopes to the customer, measure of
satisfaction.
Having a sound understanding of the network, OSS and application technologies, the OSS Solution
Architect applies business development techniques and skills to scope, schedule and deliver solutions
that meet the business needs of the client, and which are integrated and coordinated across multiple
technical domains.
Additionally, responsibilities are extended but not limited to:

. Create and define the integration and solution offerings in line with the strategic program

FTTX Consultant Engineer
Telecommunications professional who oversees the engineering product for quality and accuracy and is
able to verify the accuracy of OSP Fiber-To-The-X Planning packages, review sketches and notes from
engineers, and review final design drawings for accuracy.
Shall be responsible for a group of telecom engineers. This will include direct supervision of workload,
quality of work, problem resolution, and status reporting.
The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive and solid knowledge of construction experience,
outside plant, telecommunications engineering background and a minimum 5 year of related experience
with planning and design of fiber optic network construction and fiber/copper access facilities.

Major Responsibilities
. Responsible for the design of outside plant facilities, conduit systems, buried and aerial facilities
for both fiber and copper in accordance with industry standards.
. Prepares and authors the network engineering documentation (qualitative/quantitative) for use
by implementation (and other support) teams.
. Preparation of outside plant FTTH fibre network drawings, ensuring all designs comply with
technical specifications and any regulatory requirements.
. FTTH planning of distribution network, local network and lead in network in splitters, multiport
and Planning Area POPs, DP and access network.
. FTTH designing of fiber network, placement of aerial and underground fiber, FDH, multiport,
LFS, Area POP, DP, Infrastructure planning of ducting, trenching, pits etc
. Assist Core Network engineers in the development of proposals to management on network
designs, services, policies, and procedures.
. Analyze site survey reports and contribute to specifications of requirements and plans for
installation and commissioning of network hardware and infrastructure.
. Develop, implement, and maintain all engineering, drafting and facilities records, through work
order preparation and processing.
. If required, attend the pre-construction meetings and perform site surveys. Develop material
lists, cable running lists and detailed installer instructions.
. Make sound engineering judgment in the field concerning cable footages, terminal and
handhole placements, etc.
. Perform field measurements for cable and bore details, hand holes, and access cabinet details.

Software Development Manager

As Software Development Manager you have two key areas of responsibility. First and foremost you are
the line manager for a team of Software Engineers/Developers. You must have proven leadership skills
and be able to develop and coach your team to the highest levels of performance. You should have

challenges of shaping the organization and its ways of working.
Secondly, as ScrumMaster for your team you will be a proven expert in Scrum and Agile methods, and a
