Ballroom Dancing Shoes

Even if the pair you are buying is more economical, it doesn’t

mean you can go slack with regard to the material and

construction of the shoes. For example, you should never buy

ballroom dance shoes with soles covered in rubber or leather.

Find a pair with heels covered in suede so that you can be

assured of the right grip on the dance floor.

A steel shank is common in most shoes. This will provide you

will better support for your feet. Added feet cushions are also

helpful. Many ballroom shoes have straps to secure the feet.

Check the straps to see if they cut into the skin too much. If

they do, move on to the next pair. Believe me, when you are

uncomfortable dancing, it will show and this is something you

should avoid.
