country in the world Indonesia. he Australian and Indonesian go!ernment used the "ull "orce o"
both their legal systems and their police en"orcement agencies to tac#le the terrorist threat on their
doorstep. $egal responses "or achie!ing %ustice a"ter the &ali &ombings include Australia's
en"orcement cooperation with Indonesia and the arrest o" the &ali bombers where as non legal
responses include anti(terrorism campaigns and the memorials and !ictim support.

olice. A %oint operation was launched and an e""ecti!e partnership was "orged between the two
en"orcement agencies. he A+ called the in!estigation Operation Alliance 120 police o""icers
"rom the state and "ederal Australian police "orces wor#ed beside Indonesian experts. his was an

"or the grie" expressed in the &ali &ombings.
Conclusion
he &ali bombings showed Australia that they are not immune to global terrorism. Australia has
gained a willing partner in the region with which to combat terrorism.
