Jim Ashbaugh
Jim is a 1982 graduate of Riverview High
School. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politi-
cal Science from Duquesne University and a
Certificate in Human Resource Manage-
ment at the Master’s Level from La Roche College.
Jim is a dedicated employee at SiGenix, Inc. in Monroe-
ville as the Office Manager for the last ten years. He has
also been very involved in the community as a Council-
man in Verona from 1988-1992 and has served on the
Riverview Athletic Association (RAA) Board for over
eight years as the Fast-pitch Commissioner.
In addition, he has coached softball and fast-pitch teams
for the RAA for 11 years and stepped up to coach the
Riverview High School Softball Team last spring. He also
established the junior high softball team for Riverview
last year.
Jim has also volunteered for the Verona Fall Festival for
several years. Furthermore, he is also very involved with
the Oakmont United Methodist Church, as he serves on
the Staff and Parish Relations Committee, teaches an
Adult Bible Study Class each Sunday, and has been the
Head Usher for over 20 years.
Jim resides in Verona with his wife, Lisa, and daughters,
Angela and Candice.
Domenic Dozzi
Domenic is a 1978 graduate of Riverview. He also holds a
Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh
and is a graduate of the GSIA Executive Program from
Carnegie Mellon University.
Domenic has been an officer of Jendoco since 1987 and an
employee since starting as a field laborer in junior high
school. Founded in 1957, Jendoco is a full-service General
Contractor and Construction Manager with expertise in
new construction, sustainable practices, historic restora-
tion, renovation and adaptive re-use.
As CEO, Domenic is responsible for developing and imple-
menting corporate strategies, making major corporate de-
cisions, and managing the overall operations and resources
of the company.
Domenic currently serves on the Board of Directors of the
Master Builders’ Association of Western Pennsylvania, the
National Association of Industrial and Office Properties
(President 2006-2007), Oakmont Zoning Hearing Board,
the Allegheny Conference on Community Development
Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, and the
Young Presidents Organization.
Domenic has also served on the Pittsburgh Regional Alli-
ance (Allegheny Conference), Urban Land Institute (Chair
1997-2000), Pittsburgh Downtown Plan Business Climate
Task Force, the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors,
and the Crohn’s and Colitus Foundation of America.
Domenic resides in Oakmont with his three children,
Marta, Elsa, and Paul.
Nicholas Lamia Nicholas is a 1989 graduate of Riverview and entered
the Army after graduation. He served 22 years in the
Armed Forces, earning 42 different certifications across
a multitude of fields.
Over his career, he served in the John F. Kennedy Special
Warfare Center, 112th Special Operations Signal Battalion,
Special Operations command– Korea, 7th Special Forces
Group, F-Company 51st Infantry Long Range surveillance,
30th Engineer Battalion, Iraqi Assistance Group, 96th Civil
Affairs Battalion, and the 3rd Special Forces Group.
As a veteran of the Iraqi War, he was individually selected
by the Department of Defense to conduct a Counter
Insurgency mission in Iraq. After graduating from the
Phoenix Academy in Iraq, Nicholas worked for the Iraqi
Assistance Group at Combat Out Post Resolve. He assisted in
the capturing of 32 terrorists on direct action missions. Un-
der his team’s supervision, the Kurdish battalion captured
and processed 276 terrorists in one year. He has also served
in Kuwait, Kurdistan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Korea, Tunisia,
Egypt, Okinawa, Japan, and Thailand.
His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal,
the Meritorious Service Medal, four Army Commendation
Medals, the Joint Service Achievement Medal, six Army
Achievement Medals, seven Good Conduct Medals, two Na-
tional Defense Service Medals, the Korean Defense Service
Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, the Global
War on Terrorism Service Medal and many more.
Nicholas currently lives in Fayetteville, North Carolina,
with his wife and children. He works for the Program Exec-
utive Office for Command Control Communications Tactical
as a System Architecture Data Production Analyst.
