Daily Schedule

Absences and Tardies• Students should arrive at school no later
than 7:50 each morning. It is important to arrive on time and prepared for class.
• Parents will be notified by the school after 5 absences.
• Please send a note for any transportation changes. Please do not email transportation changes.
Breakfast
• Breakfast begins at 7:15. If your child is eating breakfast at school, he/she needs to arrive no later than 7:30.
• Please make sure your child eats at home if they cannot arrive by 7:30.
Daily Folders• Please check your child’s Bee Binder daily for
important notes, communication concerning behavior, calendars, newsletters and other important information.
• Please sign behavior sheet daily.
• Please send all money and notes in pencil pouch located in Binder
• Please return Binder daily.
Snacks
• We are asking that each family take turns providing snacks.
• You will be notified when it is your week.
• Please make sure the snack is healthy and requires no utensils or refrigeration.
Uniforms
• All Austell Students are required to wear uniforms everyday.
• Information concerning winter uniforms will be sent home soon.

Sight Words
• Every six weeks we will introduce a new set of sight words.
• At the end of every six week period your child will be tested on sight words.
• Students can earn rewards for knowing sight words.
Parent Volunteers
PLEASE join PTA (Parent-Teacher Association)…we need your help!
Membership cost is $6.00 or $10.00 for adult and child
Please contact PTA to volunteer for activities such as Committees, Fall Festival,
Parties and Fund Raisers!
Check your child’s BEE Binder for upcoming PTA meetings! We hope to see you there!
