Introducere
Scopul lucrarii
functionarii in bune conditii atat a sistemului IDS cat si a sistemului FDP/RDP, pentrupredictia traiectoriei unui zbor cu suficienta acuratete si, in consecinta, pentru calculareadiferitelor momente ale evenimentelor in zbor, in vederea fluidizarii optime si asigurariisigurantei zborurilor.
Referinte
Pentru intocmirea acestui document, s-au folosit numeroase documente, publicatii si altesurse de referinta, ca de exemplu:- Janes All the Worlds Aircraft;- Aircraft 2ndedition;- Aircraft Type Designators;- Companii aeriene ca TAROM, DACAIR, etc.
Structura documentuluiDocumentul este structurat in doua capitole:

Take-off alternateAn alternate aerodrome at which an aircraft can land should become necessaryshortly after take-off and it is not possible to use the aerodrome of departure.
En-route alternateAn aerodrome at which an aircraft would be able to land after experiencing anabnormal or emergency condition while en route.

impossible or inadvisable to land at the aerodrome of intending landing.
AilavatorControl surface functioning as aileron and elevator.
AirstairRetractable stairway built into aircraft.
ICAO Approach categoriesThe following ICAO table indicates the specified range of handling speeds (KIAS) for each
category of aircraft to perform the manoeuvres specified. These speed ranges have beenassumed for use in calculating airspace and obstacle clearance requirements for eachprocedure.

Note where decision height (DH) and runway visual range (RVR) fall into differentcategories of operation, the instrument approach and landing operations would beconducted in accordance with the requirements of the most demanding category (e.g. anoperation with a DH in the range of CAT III A, but with an RVR in the range of CAT III Bwould be considered a CAT III B operation or an operation with a DH in the range of CAT II,but an RVR in the range of CAT I would be considered a CAT II operation).

Primary-flight displays
Single screen bearing all data for aircraft flight path control.
ProfanA family of new technology propellers characterised by multiple scimitar shaped blades withthin sharp-edged profile. Single and contrarotating examples promise to extend propellerefficiency up to an aircraft mach number of about 0.8.
Pressure-altitudeAn atmospheric pressure expressed in terms of altitude which corresponds to that pressurein the Standard Atmosphere.
PortLeft sideof the aircraft, looking forward.
Psychoactive substancesAlcohol, opioids, cannabinoids, sedatives and hypnoties, cocaine, other psychostimulants, hallucinogens and volatile solvents, whereas coffee and tobacco are excluded.
R
Radiusof actionIn terms of performance, the distance an aircraft can fly from base and return withoutintermediate landing.
Rate of climbVertical distance flown by an aircraft in a unit of time, during climb given in feet / min underISA conditions with maximum take-off weight (MTOW). These data depend on manyexternal influences and differ in daily operations.
Rate of descend
Vertical distance flown by an aircraft in a unit of time, during descend, given in feet / minunder ISA conditions with maximum landing weight (MLW). These data depend on manyexternal influences and differ in daily operations.
RangeThe distance an aircraft can fly with specified load and usually while making allowance forspecified additional manoeuvres (directions, stand off, go-around and so on).
