Time and Locations 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Astronomy 101 Presentation Herbert H Bateman Education Center Auditorium (Limited space available; first come first serve; rain or shine)
8:45 p.m. – 9:45 p.m.Night Sky Observations through telescopes and binoculars at the north end of Parking Lot #1(Subject to cancellation due to inclement weather; parking available in parking lots #2-4; refuge closes at 10 p.m.)

Optional Items to Bring: binoculars, a red light, and insect repellant.
This series is a collaboration between Assateague Island National Seashore, Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge, Delmarva Space Sciences Foundation, and NASA Wallops Flight Facility Visitor Center. Delmarva Space Sciences Foundation provides expertise and high-powered telescopes for these events.
