Top Ten Things To Do in Astoria on Any Day!

• Visit the Astoria Column and climb the 165 steps to the top for a spectacular panoramic view. See the dangerous Columbia River Bar a.k.a. “Graveyard of the Pacific” and breaking waves of the Pacific Ocean beyond.

• Walk or bike the four-mile riverfront trail, or hop on the Old 300 Riverfront Trolley, with its

charming and knowledgeable conductors, to experience Astoria’s busy working waterfront.

• Discover the many intriguing museums scattered conveniently around the town:

o Check out the Oregon Film Museum and see what movies have been filmed around the state. Plus score great Goonies souvenirs!

o Explore the world-class maritime displays, artifacts and fine art at the Columbia River Maritime Museum.

o Love history? Visit the spectacular Flavel House Museum and Heritage Museum.

• Eat and shop your way through the vintage 1950s style downtown, where locally owned restaurants serve international cuisine and fresh caught seafood alongside one-of-a kind shops and unusual art galleries.
