Asset Handover Process
• Current 5-Year Capital Plan is $2.86 billion
• Scale and scope of projects are changing, with larger and morecomplex “systems” being installed and integrated
• Current process has divisions between those who “design andbuild” and those who “operate and maintain”
• Processes are not standardized amongst departments, groups andfacilities
Asset Handover Process Challenges• The desire for a more robust commissioning and acceptance process

• The slow evolution to full turnover of digital asset data into a commonAsset Management Information System
