SOCIAL STUDIES4th quarter project: U.S.Historical Sitemodel/poster (studentswere assigned stated) isdue May 8.

MATHMath students are currentlyworking on Ration,Proportion and Percentwhile Pre-Algebra studentsare working on Ration,Proportion and Probability.

ENGLISH

Students are currently studying poetry andwill be expected to create a poetryportfolio comprising of original poems aswell as compose a poetry slam.

Reminders: Vocabulous stories are due on assigned date Vocabulous quizzes are every Monday Reading journals are due every Friday

READINGThe 8th grade Reading classis studying poetry. Studentswill compose and analyze avariety of poems as well asapply poetic devices studiedin class.

LANGUAGE ARTSThe 8th grade Language Artsclass is studying Problems withModifiers as well as the degreesof modifiers (positive,comparative and superlative).

Math: Students may return textbooks beginning May 7.
