This form should be used by an Individual or Business (non-dealer) making application for a police confirmation and certification forimportation of firearms, paintball markers, firearm parts, ammunition or weapons. The B709 Certification will only be issued where the
applicant is authorised to possess the article/item in NSW by a firearms licence or permit or where no such authorisation is required.This form must be accompanied by the relevant form for the item being imported; ABC firearms & parts, H firearms & parts, paintball

All imports are subject to the conditions and requirements as set out in the Customs (Prohibited Imports) Regulation 1956regardless of whether or not a Police Confirmation and certification importation certificate have been issued.
If you are returning to NSW with your own registered firearms or paintball markers, please go straight to Section E, printand sign the form and complete the relevant firearm and ammunition ancilliary forms, as required.
