Tips for Success on Open-Book/Open-Notes Exams
• Open book/open notes exams are not easy
• You still need to prepare for the exam
• You should not copy responses from notes or resources
• Your class notes are better than internet searches
• Accessing the internet is an exam violation
• Collaborating with others is not considered acceptable open notes

Day of the Exam Expectations
• Choose a quiet place. Tell your family NO Interruptions for 1 and ½ hours
• Settle into your space 30 min before exam check-in
• Make sure you're in a well-lit room
• Make sure your electronic devices are charged and plugged-in if possible
• Write in pen if you plan on uploading picture
• Be ready to scan and submit work (5 minutes to submit after each question)
• You've invested your time during the school year
• You have time to practice and build your content knowledge to be well-prepared
