YEARS 1 & 2 Common between both Mechanical options. This gives the students a firm grounding in engineering principles and practice.
YEAR 3 The majority of the modules are common, and there isone specialist module for each of the mechanical options. Opportunity for Semester placement in industry or overseas.
YEAR 4 Optional placement year.
YEAR 5 There are still common modules across the two options. Each option also has specialist modules specific to that option.
YEAR 6 Optional (but recommended) year includes Group Project and Masters level modules for each programme.
