THE COINS OF THE TWELVE CAESARS
One of the most treasured Ancient coin collections, the Coins of the Twelve Caesars is also one of the most challenging to assemble. Indeed, we have NEVER been able to offer this compelling 12-coin Ancient Roman collection to our clients!
A collection inspired by The Twelve Caesars, a book written circa 120AD by the Emperor Hadrian’s secretary, Suetonius, the Coins of the Twelve Caesars features twelve original, genuine Ancient coins. Comprising a coin for each of the first twelve rulers of the Empire, the Coins of the Twelve Caesars reads like a Who’s Who of Ancient Rome. Julius Caesar, Augustus, Caligula, Claudius, Nero…the names of these giants of history reverberate down the ages.
A 2,000-year-old collection, giving you the chance to hold precious history in your hands, the Coins of the Twelve Caesars is also defined by extreme rarity. Julius Caesar coins are notoriously difficult to find, as are those of Caligula, Nero and
Titus. The respective reigns of Galba, Otho and Vitellius each lasted a mere matter of months, and the coinage of all three is naturally excessively rare. Indeed, it is the presence of such a large number of individual rarities that ensures that this collection is so seldom seen on the market.
Representing the Holy Grail for every Ancient coin collector, we have just two Twelve Caesars collections available. Each of those collections is beautifully presented within a lavish timber case, complete with both a Certificate of Authenticity guaranteeing the genuine nature of each coin, and a copy of Suetonius’ famous book.
Whether you pay up-front, or take advantage of our layby terms, grasp this unprecedented opportunity to become the proud owner of the Coins of the Twelve Caesars. 12448 $9,495

JOURNEY TO THE TIME OF JESUS CHRIST
As the Roman Prefect who condemned Jesus Christ to die by crucifixion, Pontius Pilate guaranteed himself eternal fame. Pilate ruled Judaea from 26 to 36AD and, some two millennia after he was recalled to Rome, his coins are very rare and highly sought after. A chance to hold Biblical history in your hands, a genuine Bronze Prutah of Pilate is included in this collection!
Rome had ruled Judaea since the fall of the Hasmonaean dynasty – a dynasty which achieved independence under John Hyrcanus, who is also represented in the Coins of the Holy Land 4-Coin Set. A genuine Bronze Prutah of Judaean monarch Herod Agrippa (41-44AD)
– grandson of Herod the Great and ally of Caligula – is also included. Completing the picture, the collection also features a Bronze Prutah of Porcius Festus (59-62AD) – Roman Procurator of Judaea, whose tactless rule helped fuel the First Jewish Revolt of 66AD. Measuring 12mm to 18mm, all four coins are in highly collectable Fine condition.
Surprisingly affordable given the rich history inherent in each Ancient Judaean coin, this breathtaking collection is presented with a genuine, original Widow’s Mite. Perhaps the most famous ‘Coin of the Bible’, the Widow’s Mite is yours FREE!

GENUINE RELICS FROM THE HOLY LAND
In a remarkably good state of preservation, we have secured a small number of genuine 1,700+ year-old terracotta seals – relics of the Holy Land with an amazing tale to tell.
In the 3rd century AD, an enormous Holy Land library was destroyed by fire. The library held thousands of papyrus scrolls – each sealed with a piece of terracotta embellished with an image created with a signet ring. The inferno may have destroyed
the documents, but the fierce heat actually fired the clay and preserved the seals! But for the blaze, these seals would have crumbled to dust many centuries ago.
Distinguished by a portrait on one side, these Ancient uniface seals span approximately 15-20mm, and represent sensational value-for-money given their quality and antiquity.
