Analysis of Human Behavior
The study of organizational behavior consists of factors mainly related with
personalities of people working in the organization .In the analysis of an individual we
have to study the role of temperament, motivation and learning process which shapes
the human personality and plays important functions, so far as human working potentials
are concerned.
Temperament:
The emotions that become dominant mould the disposition of a child .A child brought up
in pleasant and congenial environments will have the happy disposition and when grown
up he is most likely expected to face the obstacles of life with courage and smiling face
and will tackle the issues in the most democratic manner by discussing the problems
with his fellows and arrive at the solutions based on the mutual consensus.Contrarary to
this a child developed in controlled and authoritarian atmosphere will be more
apprehensive even to minor things and will feel fear to take steps to finalize the issues .
The dominance of environment whether egalitarian or authoritarian shape the personality
and attitude of an individual which matters a lot in real life of a person. Hence
temperament is a trend whether good or bad mainly based on the environment on which
a man is brought up and it constitutes the entire edifice of all of us. (Elizbeth 1987).
Incentives:
Incentives provide stimulus to achieve desired goals. Incentives make the worker finish
his task with utmost efficiency he is capable of, whether he is manager, clerk, or an

ordinary operator, whether he is trainer, a research worker or an inventor, whether he is
medical man or a teacher etc. Incentives are hope of financial gains, comfortable
condition of work, privileges, respect and honor by ones fellow workers or superiors.
While among the negative incentives fear stands supreme, fear of financial loss, fear of
unemployment or penalty and punishment- financial or moral, fear of disgrace and
uncertainty of future, these all are obstacles in the healthy growth of personality and an
organization as well. (Noe, Wright 2001).
Style of Learning:
It is the urge and motivation that formulate the process of learning style. Various
research studies have shown that motivation is related to knowledge gain, behavior
change or skill acquisition in training programme. Self efficacy that we can learn
training programme, keeping in view its benefits, needs and goals, also helps in learning
process. Environments also play an important role in shaping our behavior to acquire
proficiency in learning style. (Noe, Wright 2001).
