DESCRIPTION:
A robot can talk, walk, run and do anything as per logic embedded in it even though the
robot can do the above things. It seems a useless thing if it is uncontrollable. Here
controlling a robot is main task has to consider while designing any robot. Here, an PIR
sensor is used to detect human body radiation.
In this project there are two embedded systems based microcontroller boards.
Among which one is transmitter connected with PIR sensor and placed on a robot
platform and the receiver board is connected to our PC through MAX 232. When ever the
PIR sensor senses the human body radiation the sensor in turn signals the microcontroller
and the controller sends to the encoder and this signal is transmitted to the receiver board
through RF Tx. When the RF Rx receiver receives the code it decodes in the decoder and
given it to the controller and via MAX 232 it will be displayed on the PC.
The system uses a compact circuitry built around Flash version of AT89S52
microcontroller with a non-volatile memory capable of retaining the password data for
over ten years. The user can modify the password. Programs are developed in embedded
C. ISP is used to dump the code into the microcontroller
SOFTWARE:
Embedded ‘C’
RIDE to write code
ISP to burn the chip
HARDWARE:
At89s52 based our own developed board
Power Supply
RF Tx
RF Rx
Encoder
Decoder
ADVANTAGES: Low cost, automated operation, Low Power consumption.
