The project consists of two phases: • Phase I: Infrastructure work, including installation of dry utilities (started April 2017)• Phase II: Erection of the apartment structure
Columbia Pike: • Trucks can stage on Columbia Pike between 7:00AM to 3:00PM M-F.• The westbound land on Columbia Pike will be closed from 7:00AM-3:00PM M-F and reopened at
3:30PM. Barrels will be placed on right lane edge at the end of the day.• Staging lane to be controlled by flagman during operation.
Columbia Pike Covered Walkway: • A covered walkway shall be installed following structure to grade until completion of building
superstructure + façade with temp wooden bus shelter.
South Lincoln Street: • Concrete, small and medium trucks will use S. Lincoln St. for deliveries after excavation. If flatbed
deliveries are scheduled for the same time as concrete pours; concrete trucks will need to stage and unload on S. Lincoln St.
• The location of the parking to be provided at various stages of construction.• Additional parking for offloading of tools, equipment and workers will be accommodated in the
closed parking lane on S. Lincoln Street or the closed traffic lane on Columbia Pike, inaccordance with the approved MOT plan.
• Temporary parking and material off-loading shall be monitored and controlled by the GeneralContractor’s flagman to prevent stacking or blocking of the travel lanes.
Truck Communication: • Contractor shall manage trucks with radio communications or other means to limit trucks idling on
Columbia Pike.

• Flaggers are responsible for pedestrian safety and must be aware of oncoming traffic – include a thirdspotter if necessary on the south side of the walkway to ensure pedestrian safety.
• Flaggers must be posted at both ends of the pedestrian walkway at any time the walkway is closed due toloads being swung over walkway.
***Note: pedestrians may choose to cross the street mid-block – Contractor shall strictly enforce rules and agreements with neighboring properties.
