COO’s Message
The Institute continuously endeavors to update its courses, to use appropriate teaching methodology and receive feedback from the end-users about the content, quality and usefulness of the courses. The students are exposed to courses in various domains, both in basic and advanced modules. They build up industry connect through the long term and short term projects, industrial visits, study tours, international immersion programmes, and week-end lectures by captains of industry. Online platforms, as in all aspects of modern life, are playing a significant role at AIMS too. All our academic disciplines have active online platform components through dedicated pages in our website, LinkedIn etc. which inter alia acts as a knowledge platform. Experience so far indicates that technology though necessary, is not a sufficient condition to provide trusted, reliable and authoritative delivery of inputs to students. This can be accomplished only by experienced faculty in an interactive environment, in which technology will be optimally utilized. This is how AIMS tries to provide an enriching hybrid environment to i t s s t u d e n t s t o g row, b u i l d t h e i r competencies and reach their potential. AIMS established in the year 1994 by a group of eminent educationists and philanthropists to impart quality education and with a vision to expand the horizons of teaching-learning realms, wherein, the students' intrapersonal and interpersonal disposition is groomed.It is a great pleasure to state that the AIMS fraternity is enduringly infusing resilient confidence among the students to excel in their academic, professional endeavours and personal lives. AIMS started with 2 UG programs and 60 students and is now offering 6 PG & 4 UG programs having around 2000 students at the campus. AIMS has made a mark within a decade of its inception by consistently being ranked & rated as one of the best private B-Schools in the country by various rating agencies over the years. Recently, the Business world B-School survey has ranked AIMS as 18th Best B-School in the country. By the same survey AIMS is also rated to have 5th best intellectual capital among more than 3000 B-Schools in the country. The Hospitality program has also been ranked among the best in the country and the graduates are widely accepted by leading chains in India and abroad. Also, students of various programs have been securing university ranks. AIMS is accredited by NAAC and with the highest score of 3.46 out of 4 for an institution that is being accredited for the first time. AIMS B-School has also been accredited by IACBE which is an international accreditation body for B-Schools. Apart from being consistently ranked among Top 1% of B-Schools in India in various leading surveys, AIMS has also been rated as best college for Entrepreneurship Education in India and ISB, Hyderabad has selected AIMS as a local delivery partner for the global Goldman Sachs 10000 women entrepreneurs Development Program. Understanding the role technology would play in businesses in the future, AIMS is working towards integrating technology in education in a big way which would help the students be at ease with the technology apart from changing the way we teach and ensure better collaboration between students and educators. As a part of this initiative, we are now providing Apple iPads to students apart from training and certifying them on this platform. It is not only the students, but even educators who are undergoing training on integrating technology into their teaching.

AIMS Centre for Corporate and Public Relations started its journey with a well- defined objective of bridging the gap between industry and academia, through mutually exploring the opportunities for students, institutions, professionals and the corporate world at large towards better growth and development. AIMS Centre for Corporate and public relations focuses at understanding the requirements of the corporate and then develops the abilities of our students and
guides them in getting proper information about the market changes, industry expectations, nature of opportunities, salary structure, industry openings, on campus and off -campus interviews for internship, projects and placements, career counseling and career development preparation. AIMS has a strong corporate back up sponsored by effective alumni members. The Centre for Corporate and Public Relations thus facilitates training, research, consultancy and placement through right networking.

PLACEMENT PROCESS
1. Corporate executives and students interact on campus through
engagement activities such as Guest lectures, Live projects, Corporate
connects, Competitions, Industrial visits etc 2. Student profiles are share with the corporate executives. 3. Company conducts Pre-Placement talk. 4. Resumes of interested candidates are shared with the company 5. Company comes to AIMS campus for selection process during the
placement season. PLACEMENT 2017 A GLIMPSE
AIMS Institutes is proud to announce the conclusion of its final placement process for the academic year 2014-17. The institute witnessed participation of multitude of companies across varied domains. Our corporate visitors were delighted to see the enthusiasm students exuded in the placement process, which was evident in their positive feedback. A total of 97 companies participated in the final placement process. The year saw the institute strengthen its relationship with 58 past recruiters and established relationships with 39 new companies. The students at AIMS have undergone a dedicated training program through ACSD Department (AIMS Centre for Student Development) to hone their soft skills, functional skills and were provided career counselling by some of the corporate leaders which has helped them in identifying and positioning themselves better vis-à-vis the career opportunities provided through campus placements. GRADUATING STUDENTS SNAPSHOT
Placements for the year 2017 highlights positive trends both in terms of compensation as well as quality of profiles offered. The varied roles offered include the following- Tax Analyst, Analyst – Global Derivatives, Analyst - Accounting Advisory Services, Business Consultant, B2B & B2C Marketing, Talent Acquisition, Fleet Solutions Specialist, Team Leader, HR consultant, Young Consultant Partner, Strategic Sourcing, Consulting, Corporate HR and the like. Students also work offline on internships lasting from 2 -8 weeks, also known as Live Projects, which make them more employable and Industry ready. We have engaged in several Live Projects from business houses such as Amazon, Parag Milk Products, New Wave Computing, Manhattan Associates and ITC among others.
