Finance Portfolio@AIESEC Sydney• The first half of 2011 saw
@Sydney Finance Portfolio rising up to the role of helping each portfolio realise their potentials whilst aligning their performance to the overall objective of growth and sustainability.
• The strong financials provide evidence for the effective investment strategies as well as the efficient financial process in place.

• A combined effort of justified cost cuts and effective external relationship management esp. the Business School.

Gaming Night and Amazing Race $100 for food arrangement, games and such
Merchandise $1024 worth of pens, banners, t-shirts and stickers
Marketing Materials and a printer for the office
$600 worth of postcards and a printer for the office to print out all the marketing materials such
as posters and flyers IN COLOUR
Conferences Subsidies worth $3500 from the Business Faculty in the form of sponsorship as well.

• Alumni Relationship
- Alumni Night organised by ICX welcomed 34 AIESEC alumni to network and share experiences with current AIESECers in a smart casual corporate setting.
• Increased Alumni database from 6 to 34.
• Positive feedback from both alumni and members requesting for similar events in the future.

• Spent $1024 on merchandise, compared to no merchandise over the last few years
• 477 twitter followings and 301 AIESEC Sydney Facebook group members

Tracking & Communicating - Weekly LCM brief on financial standing promotes transparency of the system as well as portfolio operations.- Interacting with other portfolios informally and formally helps tracking and evaluating the respective performance.
Banking & Accounting- Weekly FN team meeting agenda includes updating Quickbooks, analysing portfolio performance, audit documentation etc.- Immediate cash debits and cheque banking controlled by VP.• Received UNQUALIFIED Quarterly Audit
Budgeting - In the event of expenditure, the budget accompanies negotiations with the EB team to ensure long term sustainability and optimal allocation of funds.
