It is important that patient information is
kept private. Sometimes staff need to
speak to other people about patient
concerns. Staff will tell the patient first.
Compliments and complaints
Patients are encouraged to say if they are
happy or not happy about their care. They
can speak to the matron or staff.
Patients can also be helped to contact
PALS (Oxleas’ complaints helpline).
