This project will document environmental and operational performance of Enbridges hybrid fuel cell plant. The technology recycles waste energy from pipeline pressure reducing station to increasethe fuel cells low-impact electricity output. A demonstration will validate the cost effectiveness of this electricity supply option and document how high efficiency, near zero emission fossil energysolutions can complement intermittent renewable energy supplies, provided that policy parity exists.
