You can add photosto a message youare sending so youcan share the photoswith your friends andfamily.

To create a message,perform steps 1 to 7starting on page 228.

Click the location inthe message where youwant to add photos.

1 Click Add photos to addphotos to the message.

The Add Photos dialogbox appears.

This area shows thelocation of the displayedphotos. You can click thisarea to select a differentlocation.

Click a photo you want toadd to the message.

Click Add to add thephoto to the message.

The photo you selectedappears in the message.

To add additional photosto the message, repeatsteps 4 and 5 for eachphoto you want to add.

When you are finishedadding photos to the message, click Done.

The photos you selectedappear in the message.

This area displays optionsyou can select to format yourphotos. For example, you canadd borders to your photosand change your photos toblack and white.

When you are readyto send the message,click Send to send themessage.

Will photos I add to a message be availableon the Internet?

If you are signed in to Windows Live Mail with a Windows Live ID, high-quality versionsof the photos you add to a message will beplaced on the Internet when you send themessage. When a person receives the message, they can view the high-quality photos in an online slideshow. The messagewill display smaller versions of the photos so the message transfers faster.

Note: A Windows Live ID is the e-mail address and password you use to sign in to Windows Live programsand services, such as Windows Live Hotmail.

Tip Tip How do I send a file with a message?

To send a document, spreadsheet,video, or other type of file with amessage, create your messageand then click Attach at the top of the window. In the dialog boxthat appears, click the file youwant to attach and then clickOpen. The name and size of thefile you select will appear belowthe Subject area in the message.
