Outline
• 1. Purpose• Background and Project team
• 2. Activities• Designing contents and Educational activities
• 3. Conclusion
Purpose
• Background
• In 2014, the JACIC began to assess the technical plans about CIM.
• At that time, there is no educational organization to educate 3D‐CAD software in a civil engineering field.
• We started educational activities, called "CIM Challenging Education and Training"
Purpose
• Project team “CIM education” in JACIC
• Our purpose is to design the contents about 3D‐CAD curriculums, and to conduct training.
Activities• Design the contents (First draft)
• We collected a opinions.
Activity
• The curriculums :Entry course
• A road route design (soil cutting and soil embankments)• Bridges and tunnels are generated parametric
• Outline estimation of the cost
• Smooth consensus to inhabitantsreduce a rework
Curriculum No.1 Road routing 2:00
• The curriculums
Curriculum No.2 Road routing 1:40
• The curriculums
Activities• Conduct entry course, 2or3 course, 6 times.
• Total 15times121 trainees
Activities
• Needs :more practical contents
Activities
• Conduct practical course• Curriculum No.1
• Add the simulation of bridge• Design and redesign 3D modeling of bridge• Simulate the construction process• Make the attributes and the tabulation of accounts
• Curriculum No.2• Add the simulation of express way
• Design and redesign 3D modeling of interchange and intersections• Redesign the road in front of the house• Confirmation of a drainage of road surface
and a obstruction of sunshine surrounding houses
Activities• Conduct practical course, 2 course, 2 times.
• Total 4times34 trainees
Conclusion
• collected the opinions of the traineesTable 1. Opinions
