Materialsneeded(sizesandpapertypescanbeadjustedasdesiredforyourclassneeds):

1. 3”x24”textweightpaper(1)2. 3”x25”textweightpaper,(1)3. 1½”x3”textweightpaper,(1)4. 5½”x3”textweightpaper,(2)5. Scissors6. Pencil7. Gluestick8. Bonefolderorpopsiclestickforfolding(optional)

Procedure:

1. Startwithyour3”x24”and3”x25”textweightpapersandlaytheshorterpaperontopofthelongerone.Makeascorealongtheedgeoftheshorterpaperwherethelongpaperpeeksoutfromtheshortpaper.

2. Foldbackthetabwhereyouscored.3. Nextfold8-panelaccordionoutofthetwostrips.Keepthetabfoldeduponthestrip

withthetab,andfoldasifthefoldedtabweretheendofthepaper.Startwithyourpaperstrip.Nextfoldyourstripinhalf:

4. Nextfoldbothedgesofthepapertomeetthefirstfoldyoumade.

5. Openthepapersyouhavefoldedandbringeachfoldovertomeettheedgeofthe

paperoneatatimeandpressdowntomakeacrease.
