Psalm Psalm 121
The Assisting Minister introduces the refrain; the congregation repeats it. The Assisting Minister/choir then alternates with the congregation on the verses. Subsequent refrains are sung only once by all, at the places indicated by R. Refrain Tone I lift up my eyes | to the hills; from where is my | help to come? 2My help comes | from the Lord, the maker of heav- | en and earth. 3The Lord will not let your | foot be moved nor will the one who watches over you | fall asleep. 4Behold, the keep- | er of Israel will neither slum- | ber nor sleep; R 5the Lord watches | over you; the Lord is your shade at | your right hand; 6the sun will not strike | you by day, nor the | moon by night. 7The Lord will preserve you | from all evil and will | keep your life. 8The Lord will watch over your going out and your | coming in, from this time forth for- | evermore. Psalm Prayer O God, maker of heaven and earth, you help us in times of distress and watch over us day and night. Hold us securely in your mercy, that in the midst of fear and danger we may depend on you, our sure deliver; through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

1 Corintios 12:26

Second Reading Micah 6:8
He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love
kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Prayers
Help, save, comfort, and defend us, gracious Lord.
Giving thanks for all who have gone before us and are at rest, rejoicing in the communion of all the saints, we commend ourselves, one another, and our whole life to you, O God, you have called your servants to ventures of which we cannot see the ending, by paths as yet untrodden, through perils unknown. Give us faith to go out with good courage, not knowing where we go, but only that your hand is leading us and your love supporting us; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
