Avoid Distracting Backgrounds

By simply having them all stand up and turn a different direction I was able to avoid the house in the background the picture look so much nicer and cleaner without that house and all the other distracting thing that take your mind off the people.

Posing Don’t have your subject stand straight up, position there hands on their side, cross their arms, or even have them put their hands in their pocket. One thing I have always had problems with is telling people where to put their hands.
