Dairy products are an integral part of our daily diet. However, avoid using full fat dairy products like cheese and yogurts. This is because these have high levels of saturated fat, which increase

the cholesterol levels of your body.

2. MEAT

It is time to cut down on your meat consumption, especially of the red meat variety. You may wonder what the relation of diabetes and meat is. However, studies have shown that red meat greatly increases the risk of

heart attacks on an individual already affected with diabetes.

3. FRUIT JUICEFruit juice is healthy, but not for diabetic patients. In fact,

consumption of fruit juice will act as a poison if you are afflicted with this condition. The high fructose levels increase the levels of

glucose in the body, thus making it impossible for the body to control it with normal insulin levels.

4. PROCESSED FOODS

Processed foods contain one of the highest amounts of salt, in order to preserve the food from decomposing. However, it also

makes them one of the worst foods for health. High salt amounts increase your blood pressure, thus making you more prone to

heart ailments and strokes.
