TheGefenPRO3GSDI-2-3GSDISprovideshigh-performancescaling-includingadjustablecadencedetection,framerateconversion,detailenhancement,andadvancednoisereduction.
ItworkswithSDI,ED-SDI,HD-SDI,or3G-SDIsignalsandsupportsresolutionsupto1080pFullHDand2048x1080(2K).
Thisproductcanbeusedasastandaloneframesynchronizerwithoutscalingifdesired.Whenframesynchronizationisrequired,thevideooutputofonesource(orareferencesignal)canbeusedtoGenlockanotherinputsource.GenlockMode,aswellasallfeaturesofthisscaler,canbecontrolledthroughthebuilt-inmenusystemusingtheIRRemoteControlorviaRS-232control.
How It Works
ConnectSDIsourcedevicestotheSDIinputsandconnectdownstreamequipmenttotheSDIoutputs.ConvenientSDIloop-throughoutputconnectorsandanRCACoax(S/PDIF)audiooutputallowmonitoringofSDIvideoandaudio.AnexternalGenlocksourcemayalsobeconnected.
ConfigurationmaybedoneusingtheIRRemoteandtheOn-ScreenDisplay(OSD)menu,orviatheRS-232port.AUSBportisalsoprovidedforfuturefirmwareupgrades.

2. ConnecttheOutAportonthebackoftheScalertoa3GSDIdisplay.The3GSDIdestinationcabbemirroredbyconnectingaBNCcablefromtheOutBporttoasecondary3GSDIdisplay.
3. ConnectacoaxcablefromtheS/PDIFoutputtoanexternalamplifier.
4. Ifmonitoringofthe3GSDIsourceisdesired,connectaBNCcablefromtheLoopOutAconnectortothe3GSDIdisplay.TheLoopOutconnectorspass-throughthesourcesignalwithoutanyprocessing.
5. ConnecttheincludedACpowercordfromthepowerreceptacletoanavailableelectricaloutlet.
