Society of Perioperative Nurses, India feels extremely proud and privileged to invite you to attend INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF PERIOPERATIVE NURSING – ICPN 2020 being organized by the College of Nursing, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur from 25th to 27th February 2020. The theme of the Conference is “Quality Health Care through Collaborative Approach.” A Pre Conference workshop will be held on 25th Feb. 2020.
This conference will provide an excellent opportunity for delegates to share the platform with renowned international and national nursing experts. The three days' event of academic excellence will enlighten the nursing fraternity about the expanding horizons in perioperative nursing. The sub themes of the conference are Patient Safety, Human Aspects of Perioperative Nursing, Multidisciplinary Team Approach, Communication: Be informed - Keep informed, Legal and Ethical aspects, Mothers and Children as Clients, Building on basics, Role of Simulation in developing perioperative competence and Violence in health care setting.

About About Soceity of Perioperative Nurses, India : SPN, India is a society of perioperative nurses of India providing a platform for the perioperative nurse around the country to voice their issues and address the development of perioperative nursing and promote patient safety in India. About International Federation of Perioperative Nurses: The International Federation of Perioperative Nurses (IFPN), is a global organisation dedicated to actively promoting perioperative nursing. The IFPN mission is to support perioperative nurses working towards safe surgical experience for patients, through evidence-based best researched practice standards and education, together with member organisations and other relevant collaborators such as World Health Organization (WHO) and International Council of Nurses (ICN). IFPN represents over 500,000 perioperative nurses from 16 registered associations.
About the Conference: The last decade has seen a tremendous increase in the use of innovative teaching and clinical practice strategies to meet the changing health scenarios and needs. Maintaining the standards in perioperative education is essential to safe, efficient and collaborative practice. International Conference of Perioperative nursing will provide a bird eye view of the multiple aspects of perioperative nursing and will focus towards achieving targets of Quality Health Care through Collaborative Approach.
About AIIMS, Jodhpur: AIIMS Jodhpur is one of the six new AIIMS established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). College of Nursing was established in 2013 at AIIMS, Jodhpur with a view to set a benchmark in the field of Nursing Education and research in India. Currently the College is offering B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing programme and is planning to start the Ph. D. (Nursing) in near future.
About Jodhpur: The former capital of Marwar state, Jodhpur, was founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha. According to Rathore tradition, the clan traces its origins back to Lord Rama. The city of Jodhpur has grown around the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort.
