The Public Relations Specialist I position will join the Communications Unit of City Planning's External Affairs Division. This position will assist with managing the content of City Planning's website, publicizing its work programs through media outlets, and creating outreach publications. The Public Relations Specialist I will also assist with responding to media inquiries, drafting press releases, and developing content for social media.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Tasks may include:• Drafting content for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports• Managing social media, including content development • Handling media inquiries and related follow-up• Overseeing public relations and marketing for key initiatives• Attending community events to assist with outreach
